Women's World Team Championship: Ireland performed well below their best to plummet down the leaderboard in the World Team Championship in South Africa yesterday.
Cork's Claire Coughlan, who had posted the worst score of the trio on Wednesday, was the best yesterday on the De Zalze course with a two-over-par 74, while Beaverstown's Martina Gillen took one more.
Tricia Mangan had a miserable day, with four bogeys and a double bogey on the back nine.
With two cards counting, Ireland posted a total of 149 to add to their first-day 152 for 301 and a share of 24th place.
