Helsingborg master predictor Nanne Bergstrand suggests tonight's second-round second-leg tie with Ipswich is too close to call. Bergstrand claimed before the goalless first leg that his team would sit back for the first 20 minutes before launching attacks.
That was the exact outcome at Portman Road as the visitors survived Ipswich's early assault and would have left with a victory but for goalkeeper Matteo Sereni.
"I'm not sure this time," said Bergstrand. "It depends on what attitude Ipswich have as in this situation it's important for both teams to score.
Ipswich boss George Burley may be forced to take a gamble on Titus Bramble. The England under-21 international has been sidelined for a month with a recurring Achilles problem.
But with John McGreal's back problem proving increasingly troublesome, the Ipswich boss plunged the 20-year-old into a behind-closed-doors friendly on Monday.
The injury should have kept him out until Christmas and may eventually require surgery, but it appears Burley is prepared to take a risk in his quest to awaken a slumbering start to the campaign.
"We have missed his pace certainly," Burley said. "He's been a colossus for us and his strength also makes him a key member of the team."
