Brian O'Meara will miss Tipperary's clash against Kilkenny in the National Hurling League at Nowlan Park on Sunday because of a broken finger. He received the injury against Waterford last Sunday.

Tommy Dunne moves from midfield to attack to replace O'Meara with Noel Morris named at midfield.

Dublin manager Kevin Fennelly will have to do without Tomas McGrane for Sunday's trip to Casement Park to face Antrim - but at least the injury is not as bad as first feared.

McGrane left the field against Clare last Sunday carrying his left arm and was feared to have suffered a broken bone. Fortunately, he had only damaged ligaments in his elbow and is now expected to return to action in two to three weeks.

In football, long-time absentee Sean Grennan returns to the Offaly team to meet Roscommon in the National in Tullamore on Sunday. The Ferbane player has been named at full forward, with Mel Keenaghan moving out to centre forward where he replaces Ken Claffey.

Finbar Cullen and Colm Quinn will miss the game through injury and they are replaced by brothers Barry and Roy Malone.

Dublin manager Tom Carr is facing a distinct shortage of forwards for Sunday's meeting with Galway at Parnell Park. In what will be Dublin's final round of the league, Carr will be without at least five of his starting panel.

Colin Moran and Ian Roberston are definitely out through injury. Jason Sherlock is still suspended and Paul Curran, who he had hoped to play in attack, will again be overseas on business. Defender Martin Cahill is also unlikely to start after suffering an ankle injury in last Sunday's loss to Kerry, while Declan Darcy is still struggling to put his lengthy injury problems behind him.
