Irish Tennis prospect Stephen Nugent of Malahide had no difficulty in forgetting about his disappointing enforced defection from last week's Irish Senior Open Indoor Championships after learning yesterday that his ITF world junior ranking (under-18) has improved to an all-time high of 68, the best ever ranking for an Irish youth. Now Nugent's aim is to get into the world top 35, preferably before the end of March via well-devised tours of South America and Eastern Europe.
