Pat Eddery will be out of action until the start of next month after he and George Duffield received 10-day suspensions at a Jockey Club disciplinary committee hearing yesterday.

Both riders were punished for using the whip with excessive frequency in the finish of Saturday's Coral-Eclipse Stakes aboard runner-up Kalanisi and winner Giant's Causeway respectively.
