Had this been a boxing contest the referee would have stopped the fight, so much in control were Derry against an ineffective Antrim outfit which struggled throughout.

Indeed, it took Antrim until 11 minutes from time to register a point, by which stage goals from Damien McStravick and Mark Duggan had given them something to show for their efforts.

Derry were totally dominant and goals from Paul Young, Cormac O'Neill and Ronan Devlin had them in control, while corner forwards, Eoin Bradley and Paul Bradley scored at will.
