French prop Christian Califano was last night kicked out of the World Cup. The Toulouse forward has been banned until December 5th for butting a Fijian forward during last Saturday's Pool C decider, which France won 28-19.
In a double set-back Califano's Toulouse team-mate Fabien Pelous received a 14-day ban for stamping. Both players had been cited by World Cup disciplinary chiefs.
