Sir, – A letter-writer (April 20th) apparently aspires to owning a €36,000 under-stairs wine cellar. Storing wine under the stairs is a common but awful mistake. Too “noisy”. Wine likes quiet; vibrations from the stairs it does not like. – Yours, etc,
