Sir, - Yesterday I received a letter posted in the UK franked as described in your news report of March 5th. I tried but failed to get an explanation from An Post as why what is a public service should be carrying adverts for a political party.
Where is this going to lead? Are we now to expect election leaflets to be inserted in our ESB or telephone accounts? - Yours, etc.,
