JOHN McCUSKER,
Sir, - My experience of family tickets to Croke Park was very much different to that of Maureen Kelly (July 27th).
For the recent double-header, Sligo v Tyrone and Donegal v Meath,I was, as my local club's secretary, able to obtain for our club members as many family tickets as required. At £33 sterling for four seats everyone thought they were excellent value. The seats were in the lower deck of the Canal End stand and all who went to them were satisfied with the position.
The only complaint I heard was that, in view of the result of Tyrone's match, they had rather too good a view, but they remained to delight in the victory of our Donegal neighbours. Our experience was that of excellent value from the GAA. - Yours, etc.,
JOHN McCUSKER, Dromore, Co Tyrone.
