Bejaysus, begorrah, top of the mornin’

A chara, – Not only was acting-Taoiseach Enda Kenny’s language in Washington unbecoming of a statesman, it can only serve to perpetuate the kind of national stereotypes, positive or otherwise, with which Irish people abroad have had to contend for centuries .

I am neither proud nor ashamed of my Irishness because it is neither my achievement nor my fault.

I find this, however, highly embarrassing.
