Sir,- It has become increasingly clear and frustrating that a serious number of drivers – as many as a third appear to have vehicles without indicators or (of course, more accurately) don’t bother to use them. Apart from providing a welcome courtesy to other drivers, the constant use of indicators increases road safety, reduces accidents and guesswork as to where and when they are intending to change lane or direction. – Yours, etc,
DON BRIGGS,
Stepaside,
Dublin 18.
