Back to school traffic

A modest proposal

Sir, – With schools returning after the Easter holidays, the roads will once again be chock-a-block with individual parents driving one child to school. I see two possible solutions. A local, rapid, on time, free “nipper” bus service could work wonders to relieve traffic, or we could teach every child over seven to drive. I know which one I prefer. Imagine the increase in the sale of booster seats. – Yours, etc,
