An article in Friday’s edition on the National Archives and the National Library implied the proposed merger of the bodies is to proceed. The Government last month announced the merger is not going ahead.
An article on AIB salaries should have pointed out the figures quoted include pension payments, allowances and benefits. AIB says in regard to base salary: two employees earn over €400,000; 11 earn over €300,000; 24 earn between €200,000 and €300,000; 684 earn between €100,000 and €200,000.
