An article in the edition of June 14th last said that a North Sea wind farm project being sold by Mainstream Renewable Power will produce 450 mega watts of electricity, enough to power a city the size of Edinburgh.

The 450 mega watt figure is the company’s claim and it could only be achieved in ideal conditions.

Wind farms produce variable electricity and not constant power.
