An item in the page one news digest in yesterday’s edition stated that there had been a suprise showing by Dilma Rousseff of the Workers’ Party in Sunday’s Brazillian presidential election.
In fact, the suprise showing was by the Green candidate, Marina Silva and this has forced Ms Rousseff, who was favoured to win outright on Sunday, into a second ballot.
