Gardaí have arrested a 16-year-old youth in connection with the murders of two Polish men in Dublin last month.

Gardaí have arrested a 16-year-old youth in connection with the murders of two Polish men in Dublin last month.

Pawel Kalite (26) and Marius Szwajkos (27) were stabbed near their home in Benbulbin Road, Drimnagh on February 23 rdafter a row involving a gang of youths. Both died in hospital within days of the attack.

The youth, who was arrested this afternoon, is being held at Sundrive Road Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

A number of teenagers, including a 14-year-old girl, were previously arrested in relation to the killings and released without charge.
