Dock workers at Dublin port have begun a two-day strike today.

Dock workers at Dublin port have begun a two-day strike today.

The 96 workers, all SIPTU members, are protesting over pay and changes in work practice.

A one-day action planned for last week was called off after proposals were put forward by management at Dublin port.

SIPTU says the proposals have not been met, and its members have decided to hold the strike.
