Woman dies after assault

A 29-year-old woman has died as a result of injuries sustained during an assault in Limavady, Co Derry, last week. The woman was attacked on Monday night in the Eventide Gardens area of the town. She was admitted to hospital where she died in hospital on Saturday. A post-mortem is to establish the exact cause of her death. On Wednesday, two women were remanded in custody charged with grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident.
