A cyclist has been killed in a collision with a truck in Dublin.

A cyclist has been killed in a collision with a truck in Dublin.

The woman, believed to be in her 20s, died in the crash at the junction with North King Street and Blackhall Place at Stoneybatter in the north inner city at around noon.

The truck driver has been taken to the Mater Hospital where he is being treated for shock and minor injuries.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact them at the Bridewell Garda Station on 01 6668200.í
