Gardaí have issued an appeal for information after a woman was subjected to a serious sexual assault by three men in a Dublin apartment complex last weekend.

The woman, who is in her early 20s, was attacked in the stairwell of King's Court apartments in Parnell Street in the early hours of last Saturday.

A Garda spokesman said she was approached by one of the men at the corner of Cathal Brugha Street on O'Connell Street. She had just left her friends after a night out in the city centre.

The man walked with her across the road to the AIB bank where he grabbed her and forced her to walk up Parnell Street towards Capel Street.
