Warning on faulty swimming goggles

London - Faulty swimming goggles can lead to serious eye injury and even blindness, doctors warned today. The danger was highlighted by a husband and wife doctor team whose seven-year-old daughter suffered a blood-filled rash, swelling of her left eyelid and a sore, red right eye. Doctors from a Pembrokeshire hospital found previous reports of eye injuries linked with the use of swimming goggles, some of which were serious.
