Gardaí have named the victim of last night's fatal road traffic collision in Listowel, Co Kerry last night.
He was David Foley (23) from Kilbaha, Moyvane, Co Kerry.
Mr Foley was the fifth motorcyclist and eighth person overall to die on Ireland's roads over the weekend.
Four of the deaths took place in Northern Ireland.
His death brought the total number of road deaths in the Republic this year to 131.
