Weekend clashes in Algeria claimed up to 90 lives, including those of Islamic militants and civilians, newspapers in Algiers reported yesterday.
In two separate military operations that were not officially confirmed, nearly 80 Islamic militants were killed by the security force, several newspapers reported.
