Anglo-Dutch food group Unilever has scaled back its growth target for its leading brands to below 3 per cent in 2003.

Anglo-Dutch food group Unilever has scaled back its growth target for its leading brands to below 3 per cent in 2003.

Unilever - the maker of top brands such as Dove, Lux, Lipton and Knorr - had already in June scaled down the growth target for its 400 top brands to 4 per cent.

Nonetheless, the company has reaffirmed its guidance of achieving low double-digit growth in earnings per share.
