Details of plans for U2's proposed concert at the Phoenix Park on August 30th have been put on public display by Dublin Corporation.

The concert, which could be attended by up to 100,000 people on a secure 49 acre site, is subject to the final agreement of the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht, Mr Higgins.

Part 10 of the Planning and Development Regulations, 1994, provides for a period of public consultation during which interested bodies and individuals can make observations about the event. A decision on the Part 10 application will be made by the City Council at its June meeting.

Plans for the concert are available for inspection at the Dublin Corporation Planning Department, Block 4, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, for a month.

The plans will also go on display at the Phoenix Park Visitors' Centre, Dublin.
