Two women refused bail

A District Court judge has refused bail to a mother and daughter charged with entering the home of Co Galway murder victim, Mr Tommy Casey, with intent to steal. Mrs Kathleen Connors (55), of Newcastle, Galway, and her daughter, Ms Alison Connors, of Killenaule, Co Tipperary, have been in custody since February 8th, charged with entering Mr Casey's home at Oranmore on January 15th. Mr Casey's body was discovered in his kitchen on January 23rd. Judge John Garavan remanded them in custody until next Wednesday.
