Two men are due to appear at Dublin District Court today where they will face charges in connection with the seizure of a quantity of cocaine in Dublin on Thursday evening.

The seizure was made when a car was stopped and searched at Malahide Road, Coolock at 5.45pm.

One kilogramme of cocaine was discovered and two men were arrested and detained at Coolock Garda Station. Both are from Dublin and are aged in their thirties.

The seizure, depending on the result of forensic analysis of the substances seized, may have a potential street value of up to €70,000.
