Police in Northern Ireland have arrested two more people in the investigation into the murder of Kevin McDaid on Sunday evening.

A 33-year-old man was arrested in Coleraine this afternoon, while a 53-year-old man was also held on suspicion of assisting offenders.

The 49-year-old father of four was beaten to death by a gang of up to 40 people as he went to look for his children, following matches involving Glasgow Rangers and Celtic. His wife Evelyn was also injured in the attack.

A second man, Damien Fleming (46), was also taken to hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted durign the same disturbances.
