Two men are being detained by gardai in Dublin following the seizure of £200,000 worth of cannabis resin. One man driving a motorcycle was stopped at 8.30 p.m. on Wednesday last week and found to be in possession of 10 kg of cannabis resin.
During a follow up search at Londonbridge Road in Irish town, a further 10 kg of the drug was found and another man was arrested. The two men are being detained at Pearse Street Garda station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act and may be held for up to seven days.
