Two people found dead in Dublin and Co Kildare on Sunday both died from natural causes, gardai said yesterday

Two people found dead in Dublin and Co Kildare on Sunday both died from natural causes, gardai said yesterday. A man in his late 40s was found dead in an armchair with blood on his clothing in a house on South Circular Road, Dublin on Sunday night. However, a post mortem examination showed he had died from natural causes. Similarly, a post mortem on the body of an elderly woman found in her car at the Curragh racecourse also revealed that she had died naturally.

Meanwhile, gardai in Bray, Co Wicklow investigating the killing of a local man who was stabbed while leaving a public house are preparing a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). A local man in his early 20s was arrested on Sunday night after the stabbing of Mr Keith Fortune (28), who died after the attack at 1 a.m. on Sunday.

The man was released yesterday after questioning. The DPP will decide if charges are to be brought over the killing.
