More than £865,000 in EU grant aid has been approved for eight tourism projects costing a total of about £1.8 million, the Minister for Tourism and. Trade, Mr Kenny, announced yesterday.

These include the upgrading of a hotel and a camping park, improving tourism Information services in Limerick and Dingle, Co Kerry; and the restoration of heritage gardens in Birr, Co Offaly, Glin, Co Limerick, and Bunratty and Knappogue, Co Clare.
