London - The Tory spokesman on health, Dr Liam Fox, yesterday issued a public apology after telling a joke about the Spice Girls which could be interpreted as sexist and racist. Dr Fox admitted telling the joke at a Christmas party last week.
At the party, Dr Fox asked fellow guests: "What do you call three dogs and a black bird?" Receiving no response, he supplied the answer: "The Spice Girls."
