Three more held over Swedish man's death

Gardai investigating the death of a Swedish man in New Ross have arrested three men in connection with the incident.

Gardai investigating the death of a Swedish man in New Ross have arrested three men in connection with the incident.

Mr Eric Magnus Forsmark (31) died as a result of injuries sustained in an early-morning fracas outside a pub in New Ross on Sunday July 20th. Mr Forsmark was placed on a life-support machine after the assault but died two days later.

All three arrested today are male and are being detained under Section 4, Criminal Justice Act at New Ross and Wexford Garda Stations.

Three other people who were arrested yesterday were released last night.

Mr Forsmark was working in New Ross as a casual street trader during the three-day festival in the town .
