Three men who were arrested yesterday in connection with a bomb attack in Co Armagh which injured three children have been released.

The device exploded in a bin in Lurgan while police investigated a warning that another bomb had been left at a nearby primary school.

The three children, aged between two and 12, suffered minor injuries on August 14th.

Police arrested three men during a search operation in the town. Items were taken away for examination.

The men were freed without charge overnight.

Dissident republicans were blamed for planting the bomb which exploded without warning in Lurgan’s North Street.
