Gardaí in Kilkenny have arrested three people in relation to a serious assault that took place yesterday evening.
A man (21) suffered stab injuries at Lower New Street apartments at about 9pm. He is being treated at St Luke’s General Hospital.
Two men and one woman in their early 20s were detained at Kilkenny and Thomastown Garda stations under Section 3 of Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone who was in the Lower New Street area yesterday between 8pm and 10pm to contact Kilkenny Garda station (056-7775000), the Garda confidential line (1800 666 111) or any Garda station.
