TD's son is critical after accident

The son of Clare Fianna Fail TD Mr Tony Killeen was still critical in hospital yesterday after an accident in which a Dublin girl died. Ms Deirdre McDarby (17), of Brookhaven Drive, Blanchardstown, was killed when a car struck a tree and overturned near Corofin, Co Clare, about 3 a.m. on Saturday. The accident happened at Ballyportry South, only yards from where the girl was staying with relatives. Muiris Killeen (17), a fourth-year student at St Flannan's College in Ennis, was rushed to Ennis General Hospital and from there to Cork University Hospital.
