A poll produced by the Tallaght based newspaper, the Echo, shows an upsurge of support for Fine Gael candidate Mr Brian Hayes, which could enable him to take the fifth seat in Dublin South West.
Carried out on 939 voters between May 22nd and May 27th, the poll indicates that the TDs running in the constituency - Mr Chris Flood (FF), Mr Eamonn Walsh (Lab), Mr Pat Rabbitte (DL) and Ms Mary Harney (PD) - will retain their seats.
