The first subsidised regional flights in just over a year between Kerry and Dublin took place yesterday, with the Aer Arran service from Farranfore.

Aer Arann will fly twice a day from Kerry to Dublin, returning mid-morning and at 7pm.

The schedule has been welcomed by tourist and business interests in Kerry as offering both business and leisure travellers the opportunity to spend a full business day in Dublin, or the facility to connect to Britain, European and global services from Dublin Airport.
