Social housing could help Nama take thousands of unsold homes off the property market, while providing badly needed accommodation, the Irish Council for Social Housing has proposed.
The plan will be discussed by 300 delegates from Government departments, local authorities and other housing agencies, at the council’s conference in Athlone later this month.
