The festival begins next Wednesday with Sligo's own Niamh Crowley, who will be the soloist with the RTE Concert Orchestra in Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major. The official festival opening in the Hawk's Well Theatre on Thursday will be followed by an international concert, and the competitions begin on Friday, October 29th.
