Sinn Féin's offices in Derry were attacked with petrol bombs last night.

The premises in the Eastway area of the city suffered minor smoke damage to an exterior wall and windows.

The PSNI are investigating the attack, which took place shortly after midnight.

Sinn Féin MLA for Foyle Martina Anderson said it was unclear who was responsible for the attack.

"If it came from any group opposed to Sinn Féin's strategy, it would be an act of political and strategic bankruptcy," she said.
