Royal Dutch/Shell is to sign a $200 million contract for offshore gas exploration with Libya today, according to a spokesman for Mr Tony Blair.
The contract could eventually reach a total of $1 billion, said the spokesman, who was travelling with the British Prime Minister, who arrived in Tripoli this morning.
