Prilep - Kosovo's ethnic Albanians complained yesterday of beatings by Serbian police in the wake of bloody attacks by separatist guerrillas on the security forces.
In Prilep, near Decani, in one of the most violent areas of the southern Serbian province, villagers said they were beaten and threatened after two policemen were killed and four wounded in an ambush two days ago.
