Minister of State for Energy, Mr Joe Jacob today said the British Government’s decision to approve a new MOX (Mixed Oxide Fuel) plant at Sellafield "defied logic".
Mr Jacob said he found it "difficult to comprehend the decision," given the current threat to global security.
He said the Government will now step up its legal action against the British government over the continued operation of the Sellafield nuclear plant.
