The death has taken place of Mr John Keenan, national secretary of Comhaltas Ceoiltoiri Eireann and president of the Association of Irish Traditional Musicians. In his late 70s, he died at his home in Blackwater, Co Wexford, last Friday.
He is survived by his wife, Rita, and three children.
