Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a well-known jewellers have arrested a second man, they said today.

Police won't say exactly what was taken in the hold-up at Lunn's in central Belfast just after 5pm on Thursday.

The three-man gang — all masked — made off from the Queen's Arcade premises in the direction of College Court and on to Castle Street.

No-one was injured during the robbery.

A 30-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Detectives at Musgrave Street PSNI station said they have since detained a 35-year-old and both men continue to be questioned.
