Gardaí investigating an ammunition and explosives find in Sligo town yesterday have arrested a second man.
The man in his 30s was arrested last night following the search of a number of houses and premises. A man arrested earlier in the day is still in custody.
Both are being held under Section 30 the Offences Against the State Act and can be held for 72 hours after their arrest.
Gardaí are refusing to disclose the nature of the find.
