The ESB yesterday secured an order directing a number of Travellers to leave a "highly dangerous" site owned by the board in Co Wicklow.

Ms Justice Macken ordered that the Travellers remove themselves and their property from the ESB site at Fassaroe, Bray, Co Wicklow, by 6 p.m. yesterday.

The judge said she would normally allow a number of days for people to vacate a site but she was satisfied from the evidence this particular site posed an "immense danger" to the Traveller defendants and their children.
