A Kildare senator today said Channel 4's Big Brotherwinner Brian Bowling "deserves and will be offered a civic reception".
Fianna Fáil senator Mr Sean O’Fearghail said Mr Dowling should be honoured by the country’s representatives on behalf of Kildare.
"I think Brian was a big hit with everyone. Perhaps we might look at hosting a reception on an appropriate date that would coincide with a county council meeting - perhaps December 10th which is also Human Rights Day," the senator suggested.
